Infection clusters of workers still toiling in public venues, such as janitors and home health care workers who are frequently subjected to people not wearing masks and strict observation of the number of people in small spaces, are worrisome. Almost one-third of low-wage workers had a "negative interaction with a coworker, customer or client who were not following COVID-19 guidelines," the report said. About half of restaurant workers experienced this.
