Research Bio
Jingshen Wang received a Ph.D. in Statistics (2019) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a B.S. in Statistics (2013) from Nankai University. Her research team develops causal inference and experimental design methods for precision medicine, and harnesses machine learning and AI techniques to advance public health. They create AI models that strengthen youth mental-health support, understand the heterogeneity of Alzheimer’s disease, and shape preventive strategies for HIV prevention and care. She serves on the editorial boards for the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series B (Statistical Methodology), and the Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics.
