Research Bio

The modeling of non-linear phenomena in solids with a special interest in coupled field effects, liquid crystal elastomers, atomistic and molecular informed constitutive relations, shape memory and martensitic phase transformations, polymer and elastomer mechanics, knitted materials, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and battery modeling. Further expertise in computational mechanics and finite element modeling.
