The modeling of non-linear phenomena in solids with a special interest in coupled field effects, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), atomistic and molecular informed constitutive relations, shape memory and martensitic phase transformations, polymer and elastomer mechanics, and battery modeling. Further expertise in computational mechanics and finite element modeling.
