Research Bio
Keith Feldman is a cultural studies scholar whose research focuses on race, empire, and knowledge production in the United States and Middle East. He examines how cultural and political narratives link U.S. imperialism to global struggles for justice. Feldman’s work bridges ethnic studies, American studies, and critical theory to explore media, literature, and activism. His research contributes to decolonial and anti-racist scholarship.
He is an Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley, a member of the Executive Committee of the Berkeley Center for New Media, and affiliated with the Program in Critical Theory and the Center for Middle Eastern Studies. At Berkeley, he mentors students in cultural theory, transnational studies, and racial justice.
