James Casey is a professor of Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering. Professor Casey is interested in continuum mechanics. His specializes in nonlinear elasticity, plasticity at large deformations, continuum thermodynamics, and rigid body dynamics. His interests also include the history of mechanics, biomechanics, and engineering.
