IGI Histopathology Core
The Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) Histopathology Core supports histological analysis of experimental samples for investigators at UC Berkeley, UCSF, and other affiliated institutions. The core provides high-quality sample processing, paraffin embedding, microtomy, hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining, and a menu of histochemical special stains. The facility also supports custom protocols, pilot experiments, and collaborative assay development upon request. Our services have been optimized for specimens from animal models, research human samples, organoids, xenografts, and in vitro systems.
