The Entrepreneurial Business Incubator (EBI2) is part of the entrepreneurial stewardship of the Energy & Biosciences Institute. EBI2 provides laboratory space and tools for lease to startups in biological and/or chemical field for product development, helping to bring ideas into products. Being located on UC Berkeley campus, it creates easy access to our Research Infrastructure Commons, which provides streamlined access to various core facilities on campus. At EBI2 we hope to foster networking amongst fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and coaches while also providing access to the Berkeley research ecosystem, facilities, equipment, and expertise at EBI and UC Berkeley. EBI2 tenants also have access to EBI2 dedicated staff and undergraduate internship program.
