Book Publication Support (Subvention Program)
The Office of Research is pleased to continue, for a third year, a program offering support to faculty who require funding assistance for book publication subvention. We are fortunate in that entrepreneurial activities on campus have provided a source of funding for a subvention program. This funding will support the work for faculty whose merit, tenure, and promotion depends on the publication of books, irrespective of departmental affiliation.
The Vice Chancellor for Research will award a maximum of $3,000 per application. Applications will be considered and reviewed on a rolling basis and funding will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, ending on June 30, 2025. If you have questions, please contact vcr@berkeley.edu.
