Research Bio
Tracy Becker is the Ed & Diane Wilson Presidential Chair in Structural Engineering and an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. Her research group is working to increase the reliability of communities by developing, better understanding, and facilitating the adoption of advanced structural systems that protect structures in natural or man-made disasters, resulting in the smallest possible losses.
