Martin Sanchez-Jankowski's recent research interests include problems experienced by youth from low-income families in making successful transitions to college; the illicit economy in poverty neighborhoods; the causes and dynamics of violence in different social circumstances; and issues surrounding poverty and culture among indigenous populations in the world.
