Research Bio

Dan Zeltzer is a health economist whose research focuses on how digital technology is transforming healthcare delivery and organization. His research focuses on how digital technologies, including telemedicine, AI, and connected medical devices, are transforming the delivery and organization of healthcare. He also studies how physician networks shape technology diffusion and patient care patterns.

He is an Associate Professor of Health Economics in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health.
