Aruna Ranganathan is an associate professor at Haas School of Business.  Prior to arriving at UC Berkeley, she was an associate professor of organizational behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

An eight-month study of a 200-person company found that access to AI tools didn't lighten workloads. Workers started absorbing colleagues' roles, submitting prompts during meetings and breaks and effectively eliminating the need for new hires, according to Aruna Ranganathan, an associate professor at the Haas School of Business.
