Benjamin Handel

Research Bio

Dr. Handel works on research related to health economics, industrial organization, and behavioral economics. His research leverages big datasets and partnerships with businesses and policymakers to generate new insights related to consumer, physician, and firm behaviors in health care markets. Dr. Handel was recently awarded the ASHEcon medal for top health economist under the age of 40 as well as the Frisch Medal from the Econometric Society for top applied research paper.
