Research Description
David J. Teece is a professor of Global Business at Berkeley Haas. He is an economist and an authority on matters of technological change, innovation, and strategic management particularly as it relates to technology policy and intellectual property. He is the Thomas W. Tusher Professor in Global Business and Director of the Tusher Initiative on Intellectual Capital at Berkeley Haas. Teece has a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has held teaching and research positions at Stanford University and Oxford University. He has received eight honorary doctorates.
