Research Bio
Victoria Coleman has held a variety of leadership positions in government and industry, and most recently served as the Director of DARPA and the Chief Scientist for the United States Air Force. Her areas of interest are trusted and assured microelectronics, trusted autonomy, collaborative autonomy, defense innovation, emerging space capabilities and digital human rights.
She is Professor of Electrical Engineering at UC Berkeley and Director of Berkeley Space Center. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1991.
